Ways to learn kids writing letters

Had when i worked in a preschool and kids love them! I would use colored sand instead of white salt. DIY salt tray with alphabet cards. Easy to make and kids have fun smoothing out the salt after correctly making the letter

I LOVE this activity for an end of the year task. Maybe paper airplane shape instead?

5 easy set-up centers for your classroom - I can see this being used for sight words!: 5 easy set-up centers for your classroom - I can see this being used for sight words!

Love this idea from Delights and Designs… You could easily extend this for more able pupils to contain more word types. Children are encouraged to come up and pick a word from the teacher. They then place the stick in the correct pot. To further extend, they could then pick a word from each cup and create a sentence. Perfect for assessment!

parts of speech word sort {language arts}--Kids each come up and pick a stick out of my hand and they would have to place it in the right cup! If there’s extra time, they can use the word in a sentence

Miss Smartie Pants!: Brain Breaks FREEBIE!!!

*** LOVE THIS IDEA~ I will use it to put the students favorite MOVEMENT activities~ 1 can for one for and one for Use in the music classroom. Put different movement vocabulary, locomotor and non-locomotor. For gym

This would be nice to use for small group activities. I was thinking of having 3 clips: 1. Min (The minimum level I would expect) 2. Max (The loudest I will accept) 3. Current (Where the kids actually are) I would move the 'Current' pin as their level changed so they can monitor themselves.

My teacher uses a Noise Meter similar to this one. The Noise Meter is a cool way to remind students the correct noise level that they should be using! You just use the paper clip and move it to the appropriate noise level the students should be using.

My new behaviour management system this year. "Warm fuzzies"! The clear cups will give continual visual feedback.

My new behaviour management system this year. The clear cups will give continual visual feedback. if our board isn't magnetic maybe this would work
