Shakespeare Tower, Barbican Estate
Built in 1976 this is one of three residential tower blocks in the Barbican complex - it is adjacent to the Barbican Centre. Designed by the architects Chamberlain, Powell and Bon it is Grade II listed and is one of London's principal examples of Brutalist architecture. This tower is 42 storeys and is 123m high.
