Inspiration for Porthmeor Programme

I am currently working in 3 areas - Printmaking, Sculpture and Pottery. Photography is underpinning everything - it has been the stimulus for a great deal of my art this year. My current themes are Boats, ropes and harbours, Roses and Identity and Xs mesh and cells Xs. I am exploring rose structures in potters too and the use of mesh

Boats, wires and sky - photos and prints - this series of boats and sky mono prints have been very quick to make and have been very inspirational in reminding me use  printmaking in quick succession to capture the essence of the composition. Now regular to weekly printmaking course and working at the Porthmeor Printmakers studios. This building up of skills has lead me to the conclusion that Printmaking will always be part of my practice and that's ok.

Inks on rice paper - hoping to roll them up and use as screens for the stairs and in conjunction with metal shoe prints as installation pieces.
