This image again from the Newcastle Libraries collection on flickr was a very strong contender for the poster for the play, the light is amazing and the image of the flock of sheep coming under the bridge past the 1950s cars is very arresting, along with the lamp forming on the round about. Although there is a mention in the play of sheep being herded along Broad Chare, it was felt that this image was very much of a particular era that wasnt a key time setting for the play.
