Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell Man with Orange 1920: Cadell uses very warm colouring throughout this painting. The background colours effectively go together well creating a more eye catching painting. The overall design is quite simple but effective. The background shapes are very simply designed with no patterns or detail. The main shapes are quite large which contradict with the small orange.
