Evaluation – Overall, my work was mostly influenced by Koudelka's earliest work from when he worked with the theatres. Unconsciously I began to explore this, I didn't realise until someone pointed out to me how I positioned my subjects in this spotlight and gave the setting a theatrical feel to it.

Josef Koudelka - In front of radio headquarters - A photojournalistc photograph, but I find his composition very intriguing. This photograph is very ambiguous and it draws you in, arising questions. I want to create this sense of ambiguity within mine.

Josef Koudelka - Gypsies 25mm (angular) –This image is very beautifully composed and the gaze of the subjects is incredible. I want to achieve something that is just as amazing. There is very careful consideration of all the individuals within the scene and that is one of the elements I need to take from Koudelka's work and apply to mine. I often forget the background as I'm focusing too much on a subject and it makes my scene less interesting.

Josef Koudelka - Exiles – Arguably one of my favourite photographs by Koudelka. While this photograph does not match the 'Street Photography people brief' I want to take Koudelka's element of loneliness and hostility from this. I think I could obtain some very interesting shots. His work still possesses that theatrical/spotlight element, which I really want to explore.

Alex Webb – Beautiful shot. Strong composition. There is a relation between the two pairs that is found within the scene. You can't help but find a feeling of mirroring between the two. The circe of light also draws a lot of attention towards the background but the white clothes of the couple at the front keeps bringing you back. The splash of red on the left also makes you focus on that area of the scene.

Josef Koudelka. I love how his work possesses a sense of ambiguity but the photographs are taken in such a beautiful way. They are dark, high in contrast, grainy. Dramatic. A very beautiful shot that suits the subject with the use of the movement. It contains a very eerie feeling to it but at the same time its very beautiful to look at. I find in this series of Koudelka encounters of mixed feelings.
