Little Red Riding Hood.  This activity can be very useful to children when they start to read books and have to identify the information in them.  Children should be able to point out the basic (as many as there may be) when reading books that don't necessary give an over whelming amount of it. Beauty and the Beast (Page 254). This story is about a young girl who is so beautiful that everyone calls her Beauty.  One day when her father goes into the city, he gets caught in a snow storm and finds a palace. The father makes the beast angry and in trade for sparing him, the beast wants the father's daughter to live with him.  The Beast ask the young girl to marry him but she declines until she falls hopelessly in love with him.  There he returns to his natural state marry for love.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
I LOVE this activity. This is a great way for children to learn to apologize. The students will read the book and point out what was wrong and what she should of done. You can take this one step farther and at the end of every week your students can write out an apology for the things they have done wrong the past week and why they know it was the wrong thing to do.

The bears were going to eat breakfast but since it was too hot they decided to go for a walk and pick berries. Baby Bear left the door open and a young girl names Goldilocks followed the smell into the Bear's house.  The three bears come home and find their house in some damaged and when they find the girl she takes off and never retuned to the forest.
