This has easily been the most popular enhancement so far this year! The children have affectionately named it the pom-pom game. You will need some cups (I got these funky looking monster ones from the pound shop), a marker pen.
Phonics- 1 This is an interactive game that uses bottle caps to practice phonics. Each bottle cap has a different word printed on it. Students will then have to sort the words into the corresponding bucket with the correct beginning sound.
Love this idea for indoor or outdoor phonics. Would support Letters & Sounds Phase 4 'sentence substitution' type games or simple sentence construction games (which could include punctuation or connectives)
