This video introduces the two main Hot Dip Galvanising processes, Continuous Hot Dip Galvanising & Batch Hot Dip Galvanising. Both processes involve the immersion of substrate ie steel into molten zinc bath to apply a zinc coating. The Continuous HDG process is suited to apply a zinc coating to a continuous strip or coil of steel, whereas the Batch HDG process applies to fabricated parts from small fixings such as screws, nuts, bolts to large fabricated components for bridges, pipes & much more.
