Liverpool brochure issued by The Liverpool Organisation, c1930
What a wonderful illustration of the Mersey ferry, Pier Head and the Liver Building - all in a very lush, rich style and slightly American - I think it is a very fine item of commercial art. Oddly no artist, nor printer is given - the only clue is that you were advised to contact The Liverpool Organisation. I will quote from the brochure - "Liverpool is the twentieth century stripped for action. It is a beautiful and complicated working model of our civilisation". There.

Parked outside the Maritime Museum within the Albert Dock area, Liverpool. The little sign reads "In the interest of safety, please do not climb on this exhibit!"...that's just too tempting. View On Black

A modern look at the Liverpool skyline. Very cool photo of Liverpool. One of the UK's very best skylines.
