1974 Ford Escort Mk1 1300E If you were looking to buy a Focus Titanium, but you found yourself back in the early 70's then this would be it. This one's in great condition, nicely finished in a very fetching metallic shade. The "E" was the Ghia model of it's day. Don't expect too much equipment though, you got some plush fabric seats, a vinyl roof and sports "Rostyle" 13" wheels, oh and a stripe. I don't even think there was a radio. The Mk1 and Mk2 were huge hits on the rally scene.

When I found this car, it was in a scrap yard ready to be crushed. I bought the car in 2000 and it took me about eight years to transform the Escort from a heap of rust to this full-spec Group 4 Rally racer. And I executed the restoration myself. I studied every detail in a meticulous way, and made sure that it was the way I wanted it and correct.
