Fowey: "The steep, narrow streets lined with jostling cottages, shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants are great fun to explore, though you may find yourself flattened against a wall each time a car attempts to squeeze past. Tantalising views of the glittering estuary are glimpsed through tiny passages, like windows onto the busy river." Slow Cornwall; www.bradtguides.com
St. Ives, Cornwall
St Ives is a seaside town, civil parish and port in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The town lies north of Penzance and west of Camborne on the coast of the Celtic Sea. In former times it was commercially dependent on fishing.
