Ben Allister won MS Young Person of the Year at the MS Society Awards 2012. After his mum was diagnosed with MS, 17-year-old Ben organised a 90 mile cycle challenge to raise money to help people affected by MS. He raised more than £19,000 in just three months. Oritsé Williams and JB Gill from JLS who presented him with his award.
Phil Craze is a fundraiser for the MS Society and an Olympic torch bearer. In May 2011, Phil rowed for 24-hours on an indoor rowing machine, smashing the world record & raising almost £9,000 for charity.
'Hope' by Action for Children Hackney Young Carers. This egg is inspired by one of our core values: hope. We believe every young person should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential, no matter what they have experienced. A group of children aged 5-11, had a fun creative day with 3 of our celebrated artists jewellery designer Daisuke Sakaguchi, Designer Charlie Sheppard and graphic artist Kate Moross designing this egg to represent what hope means to them.
