I'm all for making kids responsible and this is a good way to do it. The things they missed are all in one place. It is up to them to get their materials. This teacher has a lot of great classroom organization ideas.

*Student Job* - "Attendance Clerk" takes a folder from the crate in the morning. Work for the absent student(s) go in the folder during the day. At the end of the day, the folder is returned to the crate.

I have seen a sheet like this used before. I think it helps sudents to understand the specific word more. Being able to draw a picture showing the word is fun also!

Can be used like regular four square. Call out a vocab word . Student is responsible for giving the info for the word in heir square while tossing the all. Rotate to next square and repeat when new word is given. Continue until all words used.
