Paint chip contractions- what a great idea! I'm always looking for fun things to do with free paint chips, and the automatic color-coding must dramatically aid in memorization.

Adjectives & add magazine pix, words for self concept activity (add crown and tiaras or make mini body also) sporty, funny, creative, etc. take pic with it, guess who Bboard?

Have each student write an adjective on each classmate's work. This is a really sweet way to work on adjectives AND increase students' self-image and confidence.

Five senses unit language tie in. Love this adjective anchor chart!- could make this- THEN play "silent ball" having them come up with color adjectives, smell adjectives, etc.

This activity can be used in a center or as individual work at a students desk. It works with Gardners' theory of multiple intelligences well. A student is rolling a die-kinesthetic, working independly or in a center group-intrapersonal/interpersonal, and manipulating a word six times.

This is a fun spelling game! Students use the first word on their spelling list and roll the die. They complete the task for the number they roll.make it more challenging for and could also uses vocabulary words-love the idea
