This Wednesday we had an informative and interesting CPD courtesy of Marley Eternit. James came in to show the team the range, qualities and uses for their fibre cement profiled sheeting panels. We learnt how these products can be used as a cost effective and hardwearing solution for agricultural, commercial and residential projects.  We look forward to hopefully working with Marley Eternit on some of our future projects.

The office is making the necessary preparations for our big IT Hardware update scheduled at the end of the month. With help from Calibre connections we hope to update many of the machines in the office to improve efficiency and cut down on drawing time.

We had a lovely CPD presented by Rowan from Rockfon. Rowan made the team aware of the range of acoustic tiling products and their applications and qualities. He showed us example of how the products can be used to make beautiful and practical spaces that do not compromise on design or acoustic quality.

NCA have today deposited a planning application for the extension of @DickLovett Farmhouse and Motorrad facilities on their Bristol Campus. The Motorrad extension will double the workshop capacity and add another 50% to their showroom greatly increasing the capacity of a very productive dealership. Working with @CEC and @SWJ the design process has been fluid and collaborative, a true BIM experience.

We have added the PV panels onto the house types drawings for the site at Erith in accordance with the design and specification of the company Ecolution.

We had a special visitor Daniel Wood from Autodesk.  Daniel came into the office for the morning to look at how we use our Revit software.  He was mainly interested in the office workflow and made some insightful observations which will help with the efficiency of our use of revit.

Abbey Developments have exchanged contracts on a new site at Stoke Mandeville, once everything has been given the all clear we hope to begin the planning application for this new site.  We attended a meeting with the client Abbey Developments for a new site at Stoke Mandeville.  After the meeting Nick and Andrew managed to get in their 6000 steps for the day by walking the perimeter of the site before coming back to the office to prepare the planning application.
