This is my favorite David Hockney cubism photo because it shows the sky, the subject(building) and the ground all at once. The pictures also fit together very well and create a nice picture of a building. It includes leading lines and pattern.
DAVID HOCKNEY Hockney creates distortion with photography non digitally which almost seems to invent a new medium. His collage and overlap of photographs creates a surprising and innovative use of photos and allows the viewer to enter the image through multiple perspectives.
My Mother, David Hockney, 1982, photographic collage. The perspective on this is great. Again, students would be choosing a personal interest for their project and I would want them to photograph that subject in a place that meant something.
