Parts of Speech Poem
As word classes will likely appear in the Grammar and Punctuation SATs Paper. I thought I would share this wonderful parts of speech poem, as it may help any Year 6’s struggling to remember the difference between the word classes. With Year 6 SATs not far away, here’s some fraction - decimal - percentage facts that are helpful to learn. Using these you can find others. Example 1: want to find 3/4 as a decimal or percentage. Use 1/4 as a decimal or percentage and multiply by 3. Example 2: want to find 1/6 as a decimal or percentage. Use your knowledge of equivalence - 1/3 = 2/6, so use 1/3 as a decimal or percentage and divide by 2. If your child needs a confidence boost then get in touch today to discuss their needs.
