Alnwick Garden in Northumberland is a lovely spot and really is a great place for the whole family despite first appearances. I particularly recommend visiting on a warm sunny day. Whilst you may enjoy exploring all things botanical and maybe a Pimms on the lawn or two; bring swimwear for the kids so they can splash around in the water sculptures, or explore the poison garden, or have lunch in a tree house?!

The Alnwick Garden, home to one of the worlds largest wooden tree houses and the Poison Garden. A perfect family day out in Northumberland.
