I'm going to use a twist on this idea as one of my literacy centers this week.  Students will pick an action figure from my collection and take pictures of that figure in places that demonstrate different prepositional phrases, i.e. under my desk, then they will write the caption for each picture using the correct prepositional phrase.

Like this idea for developing subitising skills by recognising the Numicon pieces quickly, simple addition, counting on skills. Would be great for children with poor number recognition. Fab idea for an EYFS snakes and ladders.
