This display was made by a Twinkl Teacher - "My initial letter sounds display. My current class have found objects for the display to help the new reception children coming in September." Great idea!

Take a picture of the kids as if they’re reading – print out and cut out the outline of the child. Children design their own book covers which are stapled to their pictures to look 3D on a display – looks like the children are reading their books!

I Spy phonic display. Reception children see the 'letter of the day' and look on the board to find something beginning with the letter. They write the word down on a piece of card using their phonic knowledge. They are then encouraged to draw a picture of the item, write their name and display it in the wall folder for all to see.
