Aponogeton Distachyos (Water Hawthorn)
Large bulbs about the size of a golfball. Large, almond fragranced white flowers held just above the surface amid deep green spear-shaped leaves. Plant now for flowers throughout the Winter, Spring and into early Summer. Enjoys cooler, shady water and even tolerates some movement. A delightful addition for any pond. The picture was taken in April and yes that is a frog! .
