A long exposure captures the movement of passing clouds over Durham Cathedral's western towers.

Shown at the Durham Lumiere Festival 2009 & The piece was created to celebrate the connection between Durham and the Lindisfarne Gospels. Over 1000 years of history was represented within the images. 'Crown of Light' - Durham Cathedral

Created to celebrate the history of Durhams Cathedral and its connection with the Lindisfarne Gospels. This formed part of the Lumiere Festival in Durham 2009 and was brought back by popular demand in 2011

Durham City, put on the map by the Norman Prince Bishop, William Walcher, cleverly combining church and state. The sweeping curve of the River Wear made for a splendid defensive position. Walcher was murdered in Gateshead in 1081 and was replaced by bishop William St Carileph who was the man responsible for building the present cathedral, on the site of Uchted's older stone minster, between 1093 and 1135 AD.
