As a child, Maria Seta had Wilms tumor, a type of kidney cancer, and her first memories are of being in the hospital. Today, she calls herself a survivor. And she is a nurse at Cincinnati Children's the same place where she was treated as a child and still receives follow-up care at the Cancer Survivor Center. She says not only did doctors here help her beat cancer, they know how to screen for problems other doctors might miss.
