Silverdale Stone Greenman. Kansas Limestone. The design for this Green Man was influenced by my wide study of art history. There are touches of gothic, Sullivanesque prairie style and Javanese art blended together to create this sculpture.

Wild Garlic (Ramsons) Woods, Silverdale, Lancashire Wild Garlic creates a wonderful blanket of flowers at least equal to the Bluebell - the fragrant smell of the Bluebell replaced by a sharp acidic tang. The plant is edible and grows well in shaded limestone woodland. In a short time it will - as the Bluebell - disappear completely.
