The Blue Cave, Korcula. Off the coast of Korcula, one of Croatia’s biggest islands is Modra Spilja (the Blue Cave). Accessible only by boat, it is entered at 9 m below the surface and reaches a depth of 35 m, a baby compared to other blue holes. This means it is more easily lit by the sun's rays, making visibility better & the dive more pleasant. Marine life, sponges & corals line the walls, along with giant red & yellow gorgonias, or sea fans, making it one of Croatia’s top dive spots.
