The Giver by Lois Lowry is one of my all-time favorite novels to teach because it lends itself to critical thinking and many thoughtful and meaningful class discussions. My students have always enjoyed reading The Giver as much as I enjoy teaching it! If The Giver is in your plans this year, everything you need to teach it well is in this print-and-go unit!
