For my historical fiction book I read 'The Book Thief'. I really enjoyed this book. I think there were many unique aspects all throughout this book. One of these aspects is the fact that the narrator is a mystery all throughout the book (I solved this mystery very  quickly).

Good Reads: Spring Reading List

The Book Thief, Markus Zusak, is a historical fiction novel set in Nazi Germany. Told from the perspective of a personified version of Death, The Book Thief is a outstanding and unique story that shows what it's like to be alone and afraid.

This book is fabulous, the best thing that happened to me senior year!

Night - Elie Wiesel This is also one of my favorite books to teach. It's about a father and son trying to survive the concentration camps during the Holocaust. My students and I wrote to the author this past school year and he actually wrote back to us!

Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy Bundle: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest -- Loved this trilogy by Stieg Larsson! Movie adaptations (Sweden & U.S.) did a great job bringing "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" to the big screen. Looking forward to the watching the rest now that I've finished the books.
