Created in honor of James Derek Lovelace by CrossFit Townie (Thomasville, GA). One of the gym's members, Hannah, grew up with Derek, who she said "had the most fun loving, adventurous spirit, was an all around great athlete and an excellent CrossFitter...set out to use his gifts in the Navy! At the time of his passing, on May 6 2016, he was doing introductory water training in Coronado to be a SEAL. The workout's total # of reps equal 319 which was Derek's BUDS class number."
