Here we have a graphic table image of how involved women are in the church. Yet even with women being so involved, women are always with held from holding a higher status in the church. Women are never given an equal opportunity thus letting them stay at the bottom of the church. From a fundamentalist perspective we can see how religion holds true to its old traditional gender roles in the church.
Parishioners made these crosses, the were on the church walls throughout Lent, then the church suspended them from the ceiling during the Easter season. Cool!

I love this beautiful painting and it's perspective of Jesus on the water .Love how you can see his bare feet on the waters surface with his sweet hand reaching down -ALWAYS. It reminds me of a poem I loved as a teenager. It was about acknowledging the hand that pulls you up.
