Xenia’s dressing room was much larger than Irwin’s and had a custom stool covered in Girard’s Mogul 081 fabric. A few pieces of Xenia’s extensive blue opaline glass collection sit on her dressing table.

This striking fireplace sits within the Eero Saarinen-designed Miller House in Indianapolis. Renowned designer Alexander Girard helped craft the inteiror as well.

At approximately 6,838 sq ft the entire design and construction process took four years to complete, finalizing in 1957, and boasts an impressive portfolio of work by a menagerie of 20th century talent including landscape architect Dan Kiley, interior designer Alexander Girard, and principal design associate at Saarinen office, Kevin Roche.
