Article 4 of The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: There should be no laws that discriminate against people with disabilities. If necessary, governments should create new laws to protect the rights of persons with disabilities and put these laws into action. If old laws or traditions discriminate against people with disabilities, governments should find ways to change them.
