Like real skin transplantations, they can be moved to new spaces with a whole new meaning; the spatial memory they carry adapts within a new location and their character changes. The flexible and movable nature of these casts redefines the very idea of ‘place’. Rather than being fixed to a specific location, ‘place’ becomes ‘nomadic’.
