A game that my students love! Would you survive Jamestown? This is a fun activity to complete a unit on the early English settlements of North America, including Jamestown and Roanoke. In this simulation-style game, students will make various choices (similar to the choices early colonists had to make) in order to see if they would survive life in the early Early English settlements.

Early America: 13 Colonies Bingo (adapt sheet...Rather than calling out one of the boxes, say, "the colony founded by William Penn." Then have the students find the box. Use as review game.

This could be used to help the students differentiate between the different colonies and the other vocabulary on this bingo sheet. This could be used as an award for good behavior or in small groups for a social studies lesson.
