"Ventana" Mona Morales Schildt/Kosta Morales-Schildt trained at the Stockholm College of Art, Craft and Design. She joined Gustavsberg as an assistant to Wilhelm Kage in 1935. After three years at Gustavsberg, she then worked for the Finnish ceramics firm of Arabia until the outbreak of World War II. She also had studied under Paolo Venini of Murano fame before joining Kosta. Her tenure at Kosta was only from 1958 -1970, but achieved some of Sweden's finest creations in glass.
