Very good; you can add cooked smoked sausage if you want. I added a little water (about 1/2 cup), a pinch of chili powder and about 1/2 tsp. sugar; and cooked the tomatoes down about 6 minutes, then cooked another 5 minutes after adding the beans, stirring in the cooked rice (1/2 cup dry, cooked) just to warm up.
