Explore We He, Army Girlfriend and more!

Sweet memories: By the time this gets to him, there will only be TWO WEEKS left of his deployment (yay!). I've sent a few countdown things, but this one is my favorite. I wrote a special memory in each card with a lot of details to remind him of all of the amazing times we share. He'll start with 14 and open one card a day until he is on his last day there :)

Countdown Map for a deployed family member. This is the map I made for when my hubbie was deployed. It was really nice for the kids to color in a day at a time. His deployment was for 400 days, so there are 400 squares...I did this in Photoshop, and could easily be changed around...This is just to get the idea out there for others going through the same thing.

Memory Jar, each time something memorable happens, write it on a piece of paper with the date and put in jar. Like yesterday, when Isaiah took his diaper off without unbuttoning the onesie and nobody knew til he peed and it ran down his leg!!! When spouse returns from deployment they get to read it.
