Hard water stains are very unsightly and often extremely difficult to clean. There are several household products that can effectively remove hard water stains in the toilet without the use of harsh chemicals.: Baking Soda and Vinegar

1. Place pot on stove   2. Add enough vinegar to cover the bottom with equal parts water and 1 tbsp baking soda  3. Bring to a boil (covered)   4. Boil 20 minutes  5. After 20 min you should be able to scrap off the burned parts with ease.  6. Empty the pot and coat it with baking soda. Scrub with a mesh dish cloth.  7. Rinse...should be good as new.
