An incredible manipulated image of a naked woman and branches. It is stripped down, very simple yet so provoking and attractive. This goes a bit further than the usual monochrome photography we post on Monday, wouldn’t you say? I really like how unique and conceptual Alexandra’s images are, her creations sit perfectly on that fine line between purely aesthetic and thought-provoking.
Black and White example 1 - Before colour photography became popular in the mid 20th century, black and white photography was the norm. Cameras were not able to produce coloured images. To recreate this effect now, images can be altered in Photoshop, by changing the images colouring and exposure.
