Charlotte Bronte’s timeless romantic novel, Jane Eyre, is set in early-19th-century England. For the 2011 film version, Wrotham Park, in Hertfordshire, about 20 miles outside London, doubled as Gateshead Hall, where Jane (played by actress Mia Wasikowska) spent her childhood.
