Cannon Beach, Oregon - Haystack Rock sticking 235 feet out of the water on Cannon Beach, about 90 minutes from Portland. A state-protected marine garden, the tidal pools near the rock are filled with sea life such as orange and purple starfish.
This is Cannon Beach about 72 miles northwest of Portland, Oregon and, most importantly, WHERE THEY FILMED THE GOONIES. So, obviously it will be part of my Pacific coast highway road trip of awesomness. ((Loved this person description so I left it))
