Mercurochrome and Merthiolate ~ I remember this from my grandmother's medicine cabinet. Merthiolate burned like crazy! And how did we survive mercurochrome?

Merthiolate - "If it burns, you know it's working". My grandma used to say it's the new kind it doesn't burn lol I fell for or every time

Merthiolate - It's what my dad always put on my cuts and scrapes. I dreaded this little bottle with its horrible reddish orange color and dropper applicator! I believe my dad STILL puts this on himself.

Shari Lewis and Lambchop ~ awww, one of my childhood favorites. I still own a Lambchop puppet.

Shari Lewis and Lambchop ---this is the song that doesn't end, yes it goes on and on my friend, some people started singing it not knowing what it was and they'll continue singing it forever just because.this is the song.

We put this crap on our boo boos when I was a kiddo, it stained our skin a bright pink red color!!

my dad would always put this on my scrapes/cuts. The bright red color made me think my bruise was even worse than it was. And it stung like fire on a cut or scrape.
