Now, what I love about this method of exit tickets is the self-evaluating the students have to do in placing their sticky note on the stop light.  They have to decide how they feel about their level of understanding.  And guess what?  The students are almost always accurate!!  They pretty much "hit the nail on the head" when they take this type of ownership in their learning.

Self Evaluation + Exit Ticket. Have students put a sticky note on this board as an exit ticket and have them put it in the corresponding color as a self evaluation for understanding the material.

nice!

I love this spin off of the colors especially since I had to remove my duct tape from the chairs because a few kids were allergic! I think I will hang the pictures from the ceiling above the desks instead of taping it on.

Ms Davis' Classroom: Poster to Modify: Poster outside my room hanging with student art. It is my philosophy of teaching art along with a list of skills I require my students to work on in a choice-based studio.

I am an art teacher. My classes earn a crayon for good behavior each day. They work towards 5-10 crayons and when they earn them they can vote for a class celebration. (i.e. Sidewalk Chalk Day, Art Video, Free Draw Day, Picture Book Art Day, or Color Explosion)
