Our native poderosa pine trees are featured on this stoneware covered casserole that I threw in my Pine, AZ studio, where I am fortunate to live in the midst of the largest ponderosa pine forest on the continent.    I digitally altered the original vintage botanical line drawings; then permanently applied them to the pistachio shino casserole with an iron oxide transfer process.
