Geraldine Hoff Doyle (1924-2010) - The woman on whom the WWII era "We Can Do It!’ poster was based. As a 17 year old, she worked in a metal factory. A photograph of her at work wearing the red polka dotted bandana was used as the inspiration for the poster. She  did not discover she was the basis of the poster until the 1980s.
