Designed this easy sock for the SKA June DYO challenge. It’s based on a stitch found in the japanese book 250 Knitting Patterns by Hidomi Shida. It’s a toe up, short row heel pattern perfect for beginners.
I had so much fun knitting this sock for SKA October 2011 challenge that I decide to publish it. It’s free, all I ask is if you liked this pattern, the next time your local shelter is raising funds please make a donation. That’s where I got my darling cat Charbon. These animals need our help.
This sock was designed for Sock Madness It features a traveling slip stitch pattern that works well with variegated, semi-solid, or solid yarns. It has a heel flap with a “riverbed” gusset and a star toe.
