Sgt. Joseph M. Snock was laid to rest by Hotel Company Soldiers of One Legion 1st BN, 3rd US INF REG, (The Old Guard) in Arlington National Cemetery on July 6th, 2015. Sgt. Snock was killed in action on December 30th, 1950. On July 3rd, 2015 it was announced by the Department of Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency that Sgt. Soldiers from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) conducted an Army Full Honors funeral for Sgt. 1st Class Ramon S. Morris at section 60 in Arlington National Cemetery. Morris was the last Soldier killed during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. We salute this Soldier and his family for his ultimate sacrifice when his country needed him. He was met by a cordon of mounted Caisson Soldiers and escorted out of the Cemetery and back to the Stables on Joint Base Myer - Henderson Hall. ~ 5-23-15
