Its most striking features are two forbidding gorges - Velika and Mala Paklenica. The park abounds with peculiar karstic forms, caves and other natural features, and lush variety of flora and fauna. Despite its wild nature, it is easily accessible due to its proximity to the Adriatic highway and the motorway.

Accessible only by boat, it is entered at 9 m below the surface and reaches a depth of 35 m, a baby compared to other blue holes. This means it is more easily lit by the sun's rays, making visibility better & the dive more pleasant. Marine life, sponges & corals line the walls, along with giant red & yellow gorgonias, or sea fans, making it one of Croatia’s top dive spots.
