I remember snows like this in the fifties and sixties

A truck filled with soldiers of the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA), the military force of South Sudan, rushes toward the front line in mid-April. They are headed for the outskirts of Heglig, a disputed town they took briefly from the northern regime of Sudan, which is ruled from Khartoum. South Sudan declared independence from Khartoum in July 2011.
