This cozy cardigan is worked from the top down, and requires only a minimal amount of seaming. The collar is worked first in sideways garter stitch and then the stitches for the yoke are picked up along the long edge of the collar. The yoke, sleeves and body are then worked down in one piece. The pattern includes detailed instructions for the pockets, which are not complicated! Also included are instructions for i-cord edges, but you can work garter edges if you prefer to avoid i-cording.
